Disable/Hide UI elements when permissions deny actions

Some fairly basic functionality is missing: where UI elements in OSIE are still visible to users who have custom roles, and should not be able to edit/modify resources.

I created a custom role on an organisation called “VIEWER” and gave the following scopes:

  • organziation:read

  • organization:audit

  • project_cloud:resource:read

  • billing_profile:read

  • billing_profile:read_invoices

  • billing_profile:read_transactions

I was able to click around and get to the stage of attaching a network interface to an existing server, and only when I clicked on “create” did a toast notification pop-up to say I didn’t have the permissions to perform this action.

Can we have buttons hidden or “disabled” when an action is not possible.

I was also able to detach a network interface with the same scoped permissions above.
