Enable and disable network ports

Issues

Apologies if this already exists, but it doesn’t seem possible for a user to disable/enable a network port (administratively shut/no shut) from within OSIE.


Would it be possible to add this functionality?

    Hi Alin,

    I think this is a fairly common task that users may need to perform themselves?

    To test whether this was admin-scoped, I created a new user with the Member role on a project, logged in to Horizon as that user, created a port, and then unchecked ‘Enable Admin State’. This applied successfully, and I can also see admin_state_up set to down when running openstack port show against the port.

    Based on that, could this potentially be made available on the user side?

    Hi, this is an admin operation. Do you want this option to be available on the admin side or the user side? The operation will be performed by an Openstack admin user
